Following the implementation of the commissioner/provider separation in April 2010 there have been changes to the way workforce and education is structured within NHS South Central. The organisation known as NESC (NHS Education South Central) no longer exists as a separate part of South Central Strategic Health Authority.
The Oxford and Wessex Deaneries providing postgraduate medical and dental education now have their own websites and information can be found at www.oxforddeanery.nhs.uk and www.wessexdeanery.nhs.uk
The Workforce and Education team are now fully integrated into the clinical standards and workforce directorate at South Central SHA and have their own website at www.workforce.southcentral.nhs.uk
You will be able to link to your Extranet sites from any of the above websites, the links can be found in the top right hand corner of every page on every site.
